How it started
Bricks & Stitches was founded by Becky Gunning, whose journey began in the most authentic way: sharing her personal style online. What started as a fashion blog soon grew momentum with interest shown on belts she had sourced locally. Meeting that interest, Becky began selling those belts, and from that simple beginning, the brand was born.
As demand grew, Becky expanded her offering and gradually a full range of clothing. The business has grown organically ever since, guided not by fast-moving trends but by Becky’s eye for pieces that are stylish, wearable, and thoughtfully chosen.
Where Our Name Comes From
The name Bricks & Stitches reflects the partnership at the heart of the brand. Becky runs the fashion side—the stitches—drawing on her eye for style and her journey from lawyer to curator of a thriving boutique. Her husband, Jamie, brings 25 years of experience in real estate—the bricks—and now stands beside Becky as her business partner. Together, their combined strengths form the foundation of everything Bricks & Stitches has become.
